PokerBet is an innovative adaptation of the world's favorite poker game, Texas Hold'em. It is a little different, however, as it allows a player to place a wager at any of the game's three betting stages on as many seat positions as he wishes. The game betting stages are as follows: Pre-hole Cards, Hole Cards (two cards dealt to each seat), and Flop (First three community cards in the middle of the table).
The game commences when a player clicks on the New Game button. Each seat will offer standard odds of 5.50 if a player wishes to place a wager at this stage. A wager can be placed at this and other betting stages (except for Turn and River) by clicking on the Bet button and entering the selected stake. Pre-deal wagering is commonly known as betting blind.
Each seat/wagering area contains a bet calculator button. Once the player has entered the stake the calculator will display the potential return. If the player clicks on the Bet Now button, the wager will be placed, and will be displayed within the Bets section, with the players account being credited or debited immediately after the result is known. If an “X” mark is displayed on a seat at any time during the game it signifies that the seat cannot possibly win; it is deactivated and no wagers can be accepted. No Offers (N/O) means that there are no odds available for betting on the particular seat at this stage of the hand. The player then clicks on the Deal button, causing two cards to be dealt to each seat. Cards are dealt firstly to the seat marked “D”, which stands for Dealer. You will notice at this point that the seat odds will change, reflecting the chances of the cards winning at this stage of the game. The player is not obliged to make a wager at this or any other stage.
When stakes are made (if any), the player will then click on the Flop button, dealing three community cards into the centre of the table. The odds will change again. This is the final opportunity to make seat bets.
The player then clicks on the Turn button. At this stage the player can only place the Winning River Card Suit stake.
The player then clicks on the River button to reveal the last card and learn the results of the game.
As soon as the River button is clicked, the winner is defined. The seat will be marked with the word “Winner” and the best winning combination, combined from dealer's and player's cards, will be shown. The winning hand and its return are also shown in the stakes result table, where winning seat number(s), odds and returns to the player will be shown. New game starts a new round.
Dead heat rules apply to the game if there is more than one winner. The stakes are divided by the number of winners. For example, if there are two winners at 4.00 and 5.00 odds, and the player has $10 on 5.00, he will receive $25.00 instead of $50.00, as the return is $10 divided by 2 = $5 multiplied by 5.00, equal to $25.00.
