It seems like everyone has been to Vegas. And why not, it's always hot, and it seems like every singer in America is doing a show there.

It looks like Michael Jackson, who died in June 25 of a drug overdose, was no different. He had a huge mansion in Sin City, one he rented for six months between 2006 and 2007 for $1 million after a self-imposed exile.

The spot had seven bedrooms. Honestly, what did he need seven bedrooms for?

We should ask the new owners the same question, because someone recently bought the spot that the King of Pop slept in. How much you ask? $3.1 million. Considering Jackson paid $1million to stay six months in the place three years ago we'd say the new buyer got a good deal.

The 15,000-square-foot home was one of the biggest in Vegas a statement said. The buyer is supposedly a doctor-lawyer couple (like from the Cosby Show) that also have property in California and Asia. The broker in charge of the deal was not giving their names, so we'll call them the Huxtables.

What is also perplexing is why a doctor and lawyer need a home in Vegas. The place is all about Strip hotels, and there are nights you may not even sleep in your own room. Unless you plan to re-start life there, there's really no reason to have a house in Sin City.

Vegas Fine Estates partner says it's not just the Huxtables that are flocking to Vegas for property.

"We are seeing significant residential real estate buyers starting to come back into Las Vegas," Lee Medick, a partner at Vegas Fine Estates, said in the statement.

Maybe they just really, really, really love to gamble at the casinos. And honestly who can blame them for that.
