Hard Ways Dice Roll Contest Update

If anyone ever put out a poll to find out what gamers felt was the coolest casino game, Craps would win hands down.

Is it because you get to throw dice and can yell out crazy things like "daddy needs a new pair of shoes!" and no one will give you funny looks? Maybe. But we think it's more about the terminology and atmosphere the game brings that makes it cooler than Dean Martin after a couple of drinks of course.

When you think of Craps you think Vegas flash and flare. You think of cool terms like "Two Windows" (when your roll two 4s), "Big Ben" (two 5s), "Little Joe from Kokomo" (two 2s), and the "Brooklyn Forest" (two 3s). For that reason the Bodog Casino has put these elements to the forefront with the Hard Ways Dice Roll Contest.

Running until July 9, competing in the contest is easy: all you have to do is play the game. One point is awarded for every Hard Way (a hard way in Craps is when you roll doubles like we listed above) you roll. The more Hard Ways you get, win or lose, the more you move up the Craps Contest Leaderboard.

The top five weekly players receive $100 each (standard casino rollover requirements apply), while the overall winner receives $1,000 (no rollover required!).

There have already been boatloads of winners: Jo-Ann R, Bion A, Larry K, Jim D, and Stephen P all pulled in the $100 weekly prize in Week 1; while Robert R, Jarrod G, William J, Ed P, and Jo-Ann R (again) won the weekly prize in Week 2. Looks like if Jo-Ann can keep "rolling" she'll be the one taking home the grand prize.
